Office World prides itself on its ability to
assist its customers with many different tools to keep their cash registers or
point of sale systems operational.
Here are some quick fixes to simple problems.

Q. I have just replaced my paper
roll in my thermal printer and now its not printing.
A. Check that the paper roll is not
in upside down. The paper should be coming from the
bottom of the roll. Also check to see that it is thermal paper you are putting
into the register.
Q. How do I change the time.
A. On most Casio cash registers turn
the key to program. Enter the time in 24 hour format (HHMM) and press the
multiply button.
Q. ERROR CODE 01
A. Means that the key has been
turned before an operation has been completed. Turn the key to where the error
noise stops(other than the off position) and press the subtotal button. (or
press the Cash Button if in Reg or Refund modes).
Q. PRINTER LID ERROR
A. Open printer cover lid and
relaod the paper roll. Press firmly down on the paper guide assembly where it
states press here. This will ensure the guide is locked down. Now replace the
printer cover.
Q. ERROR PAPER END OR
PRINTER NOT PRINTING OUT PAPER
A. This usually means that you
will need to put a roll of paper into the cash register.
Q. ERROR R/J PRINTER OR
ERROR 15
A. This usually means you have
a paper jam. Try removing the jam yourself. If you can remove the jam then do
so. Please ensure the cash register is turned off before you try anything. Once
you have removed the jam put the register back together and turn it on again. If
you have no success please call our office on 03 9817 6082.
Q.
RECEIPTS NOT PRINTING OUT
A. Check to
see that the receipt switch is turned on.
Q. ERROR
36 OR CONDIMENT.
A. This
usually occurs after someone has been programming the register. Turn the key to
program enter 3 and press the subtotal button. This will put you into Program 3.
Enter 1066 and press the subtotal button. Enter 0 and press all the PLU
(product) buttons. Then press subtotal and turn the key back to Register
position.

Simple problem rectifications
Clearing a machine Lockup (Flag Clear)
1. Turn the register on/off switch to
Off. (The switch is located under a flap on the left hand side of the register
above the adjusting knob.)
2. Hold down the display on button.
Located on the front right hand side of the display. Turn the Register On/Off
switch on while holding the display button down.
3. Release your finger from thedisplay
on/off button when tone is heard.
4.
The display will come on and you will see FC in the right hand display and an OK
button. When you see the OK button. Press it.
5. The register will now start its
routine of configuring. After a minute or so you will see a screen with Flag
Clear highlighted. Press the YES button when this appears.
6. The register will now be ready for you
to sign on and use. The receipt will now be turned on, so if you do not require
the receipt all the time then turn the receipt off by pressing the receipt
on/off button.

1. PRESS THE MODE BUTTON NOW PRESS
MANAGER BUTTON
2. ENTER 4 AND PRESS THE YES BUTTON (BUSY
RESET)
3. ENTER THE BUSY TABLE NUMBER AND PRESS
THE YES BUTTON TWICE
4. WHEN NORMAL END APPEARS ON THE SCREEN.
PRESS THE ESC. BUTTON.
5. PRESS THE MODE BUTTON THEN PRESS REG
MODE BUTTON.
6. SIGN OFF MANAGER BY PRESSING 0 THEN
SIGN ON BUTTON.
7. NOW SIGN ON AS NORMAL AND CONTINUE
TRADING.

- THIS WILL CLEAR TABLE FOR USE
